Shayna touched down in Maine to attend Maine College of Art in 2009 to pursue a degree in printmaking. During this time, Shayna developed an interest in the world of tattooing. She quickly began her foray into body arts when she began apprenticing in 2018. Inspired by the fantasy worlds of fiction she loves so much, Shayna's work embodies the illustrative other worlds of science fiction, medieval lore, folk tales, and the vastness of occult arts. Much of her work is inspired by her love of Dungeons and Dragons, Magic The Gathering, and the works of Tolkien. Shayna's preferred subject matter can be seen in her impressive portfolio of etched and illustrative fantasy characters, gods and goddesses, medieval weaponry, and whimsical fur-laden creatures.
