The 15th Annual Live Free or Die Tattoo Expo is all set to bring together the best tattoo artists in the industry. Held at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Manchester, NH, USA from July 28 – 30, 2023, this event is one of the largest tattoo expos in New England. We're excited to announce that three talented artists from Brass & Briar Studios will be attending this event: Rebeka Chase, Ethan Bennett, and Big Iron Becky.

Spotlight on the Expo
Live Free or Die Tattoo Expo is a unique platform where talent and creativity take center stage. With over 130 booths featuring tattoo artists, body piercers, and vendors, the event offers a fascinating display of diverse artistic styles.
Beyond tattoos, the expo also showcases wild sideshow acts, breathtaking suspension acts, a captivating pin-up pageant, and a lively beer garden, among other attractions. The event is a haven for tattoo enthusiasts looking to expand their knowledge, explore new designs, or simply marvel at the extraordinary talent on display.
Tickets can be purchased day-of or at the Live Free or Die Tattoo website. You can choose from 1-day, 2-day, or 3-day passes, available at a discounted price if purchased in advance.
Meet The Artists
Rebeka Chase
Rebeka will be attending the convention and offering walk-up sessions on a first-come, first-serve basis – so come early!
Rebeka has been adorning bodies with her intricate tattoos for two decades, bringing her unique blend of illustrative and realistic application to every piece she creates. She is also a specialist in challenging cover-ups. Rebeka moved to Portland in 2017 to join forces with her talented business partner Ethan Bennett in establishing Brass & Briar Studios.
With an impressive background that includes a college education, experience in the design and fashion industry, illustration for children's books, and mentorship under incredible artists, Rebeka has continuously sought new inspiration and opportunities for growth. She deeply cherishes her opportunity to help clients realize their unique creative visions and comfort during the process.

Ethan Bennett
Ethan will be attending the convention and offering walk-up sessions on a first-come, first-serve basis – so come early!
Born and raised in the backwoods of New Hampshire, Ethan never imagined he would one day be a tattoo artist, but now he couldn't see himself doing anything else. Ethan's artistry is characterized by traditional, illustrative, and etched-style tattoos in both color and black and grey.
Ethan is will be at the convention and will be offering walk-up sessions. He looks forward to the spontaneous creativity that these sessions often bring and can't wait to meet and tattoo fellow enthusiasts.

Big Iron Becky
Becky will be attending the convention and offering walk-up sessions on a first-come, first-serve basis – so come early!
Becky Mahoney, also known as Big Iron Becky, has taken the tattoo world by storm with her bold lines, black and gray, and folksy formations. After years of international travel and earning her degree in business administration and political science, Becky made the choice to pursue her passion for the craft of tattooing.
Becky will be part of the expo, offering first-come, first-serve walk-up sessions. She loves the energy and excitement these events bring and looks forward to sharing her craft with new and returning clients.
