Mario Vincent

Growing up on Long Island, NY, I drew on everything and anything I could get my hands on - from the skateboards and surfboards we were riding as kids to bombing train trestles and abandoned buildings with graffiti late night. Art has always felt natural to me, perhaps because I see living life and creating art as one and the same.

After graduating college in 2010, I knew I wanted to pursue a career in tattooing… but traveling found me first. I started heading West every chance I got, making it to California and back several times before moving to Wyoming on the hunt for deep powder. Four states short of seeing all 50, I've spent a considerable amount of time traveling the US and seven other countries so far. In 2020, I decided to shift gears and settle down in the Portland area in order to move my career from simmering on the back burner to front and center of my life & WHOA am I honored to be here!

Above all, I'm looking to hone my skills as a tattooer and help others realize their own creative expression through this sacred art form. I find my inspiration from the natural beauty of planet Earth and our own experiences with life itself. I'm drawn to primitive designs - timeless and free from labels - as well as heavy black work, simple patterns, delicate fine lines, dot work techniques, geometric designs, ornamental pieces, and shapes that flow with the body.

I consider it my privilege to work with you wherever you are on your tattoo journey. Using my passion for art and tattooing as well as compassion for the human experience to guide us, I’m confident we can make something we’re both proud of.
