Zoe Fox

I’m a Freeport native with deep roots in Maine and have spent much of my life enjoying all that mid-coast has to offer. My introduction to tattooing came at an early age, as I was infatuated with the application of artwork in such a vulnerable and human form. This, matched with my love for the arts- enabled me to receive my BFA with a concentration in sculpture from Maine College of Art in 2021. Much of my inspiration comes from folk art and Victorian illustrations, all with a nod to art history and those who have come far before me.

I began my career in tattooing under my talented mentor Rebeka Chase in the spring of 2021 and have been able to transform my artistic skills and learn from the nuance of her extensive 18+ year career in tattooing. I’m drawn to fine-line applications that emphasize the softness of my designs that rings true to my illustrative beginnings and my artistic mentoring.
